Please join us for this momentous occasion as we dedicate this new beginning to the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, inspired by the wit and wisdom of G.K. Chesterton, with remarks and blessing by Vicar General Gregory B. Wilson.
Afterward, there will be a reception with our special guest speaker Dale Ahlquist, President of the Society of G.K. Chesterton and the Chesterton Schools Network who will discuss The Chesterton Academy Model: How Schools Can Capitalize on the Emergence of Classical Education.

New Student Enrollment for the 2026-27 academic year officially begins and is open to students who have applied, participated in a family interview, and taken any required entrance/placement exams.

Star Gospel Mission: A Walk In Their Shoes

It gives us great joy to announce CASF’s inaugural service event: A Walk in Their Shoes 2025, benefiting Star Gospel Mission on Pentecost Sunday, June 8th at 6:30-8:00am. As Pentecost marks the beginning of the Church, it is fitting that the CASF school body begin our mission of being a joyfully Classical, Catholic school serving the wider Charleston community. Together we will support Charleston's oldest independent faith-based charity Star Gospel Mission by walking as a team at their 2nd annual family-friendly awareness and fundraising event: A Walk in Their Shoes 2025. We warmly invite you and your family to join us in this shared work of mercy. Please follow the steps below to join Team Chesterton Academy of St. Finbar.

The Chesterton Academy education utilizes the time-honored tradition of the Socratic Dialogue to engage students in learning. Come to this evening of Socratic discussion for teens led by Stella Maris Deacon Jason Vaughan, and experience how this type of intellectual discussion works firsthand. This is a series of Theology Nights, each focused on a particular topic of interest, classic or modern.
Our next topic will be Cur bonum facimus? (Why do we do the good?)
This event is for 6th to 9th graders only.

Bourbon & Burn Fundraiser
Bourbon & Burn Fundraiser
Come join us on Thursday October 17th for the Chesterton Academy of St. Finbar's inaugural 'Bourbon & Burn' Fundraiser!
This will be a fantastic evening that will include a blind tasting of four Bottled-in-Bond (BiB) bourbons, learn some bourbon fun facts, enjoy a cigar or pipe, and understand why CASF and classical education is such a critically important addition to the Charleston education landscape, especially for our young men.
Your $75 ticket includes: the four bourbon tastings, a quality cigar (a selection of premium cigars will be provided by Towne Centre Tabacco), a raffle entry to win an allocated and difficult to find bottle of EH Taylor's Small Batch Bottled-in-Bond bourbon (additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event), some quality networking and engagement with likeminded Charlestonians, as well as some surprises across the evening.

All proceeds will go to the Chesterton Academy of St. Finbar's launch fund as we prepare for our opening in the Fall of 2025.
